About John

John Taylor began his water treatment career over 25 years ago while working for Equistar Chemical. Since then, he has operated groundwater, surface water, and wastewater facilities across the southern part of Texas. He joined Municipal Operations and Consulting in 2013 as an Operator and now serves as the Chair of the Executive Management team.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Business Administration from Southwest University, and holds A-level licenses as a Water and Wastewater Operator, in addition to a Customer Service Inspector license. He is an approved instructor through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and teaches 10 water and wastewater treatment courses using the TEEX curriculum.

John loves the challenges and day-to-day problem solving that is required to succeed in MUD operations.
